I'm taking a class.

I'm taking a Spanish class. I've been trying, on and off for years, to really learn Spanish. My goal is to feel comfortable having a conversation in Spanish with someone who is not a) related to me or b) a close friend. One of my life goals is to be bilingual and use my language skills in my job (when I get one). So I'm taking Intermediate Spanish, and it turns out that the professor used to teach Spanish at my high school. I never had him, but I think my sister did. He's really nice and a very good teacher. I've forgotten a lot of the vocabulary in the last few years of applying for and attending grad school, but even in this first class session, it's really coming back to me. Now I just have to find a copy of the book, workbook, cds, and verb book without breaking the bank. Thank goodness for ebay and Amazon used.
